LG ACs are a great choice, but there are times when you may face a minor or major error code in the system. While there is no way of knowing an error may occur, all you can do is handle it in a way that works best for you. Start by noting down the error code, and match it using the list below. Once you have the error code you can easily work your way to the fix. To help you out we have listed down some of the most common error codes for LG ACs.
Split Type AC

Floor Standing AC
Teach the customer the operation and maintenance procedures, using the operation manual (air filter cleaning, temperature control, etc.). If Error Code happens in the display of indoor.

Ceiling Cassette AC
- The function is to self-diagnosis air conditioner and express the troubles identically if there is any trouble.
- Error mark is ON/OFF for the operation LED of evaporator body in the same manner as the following table.
- If more than two troubles occur simultaneously, primarily the highest troubleshooting error code is expressed.
- After error occurrence, if error is released, error LED is also released simultaneously.
- To operate again on the occurrence of error code, be sure to turn off the power and then turn on.
- Having or not of error code is different from Model.

| CH 07 | Themostat Wiring Error. During operating Remote mode, if PTAC receives control commands that can not be drive from Themostat, Themostat error occurred. |
| CH 09 | EEPROM Check Sum Error. EEPROM Check Sum Error is occurred by unmatching between the original checksum and the calculated checksum. |
| CH 10 | Indoor Fan Error. Indoor fan lock error is occurred by no feedback signal from Hall sensor located BLDC Motor in 50 seconds delay time or feedback signal lower than 50RPM. (Applied in model using BLDC Motor) |
| CH 34 | High Pressure Switch Error. If opening high pressure switch for 65 miliseconds is generated more than 10 times in 1 hour, High Pressure Switch Error occurred. |
