LG is one of the leading multinational companies based in South Korea. What started as a small venture has now turned into a billion-dollar empire that focuses on a wide range of technology-based sectors. Offering customers all that they can need from air conditioning, TVs, washing machines, to state-of-the-art AI systems. Making sure you get a quality built and desirable appliance that enhances your everyday life.
LG VRF is said to be one of the most powerful and versatile air conditioners, offering you a cost-effective and easy-to-install a system that will help you eradicate all your issues. Offering both indoor and outdoor units, it can help you set up the right way. Their VRF system is designed to help you minimize efficiency losses while providing you sustainable energy benefits. Additionally, it aims to provide you with comfort, reliability, energy efficiency, and smart solutions for your space.
With such a huge system comes a chance of error in function. Fortunately, the system offers you with specific error codes you can use to regain effective working. Start by noting down the error code, and match it using the list below. Once you have the error code you can easily work your way to the fix. To help you out we have listed down some of the most common error codes for LG VRF.
Error Codes;
- Indicate different types of unit failures, assist in self-diagnosis and to track the frequency of occurrence.
- Error codes are shown on the LED of indoor units, wired remote controller, the outdoor unit control board, and on the main screen of the LG Monitoring View (LGMV) Diagnostic Software.
- If two or more errors occur simultaneously, the lower error code number is displayed first.
- After error is resolved, the error code does not display.
Error Display;
The first, second, and third number on the LED indicates error number; the fourth number on LED indicates outdoor unit number.
Examples: 211 = Error No. 21 on master unit, 213 = Error No. 21 on slave2 unit, Error No. 105 on master unit on compressor 1.
Error Code Nomenclature Definitions;
- MICOM: Non-volatile memory chip where unit setup information is stored.
- EPROM: Non-volatile memory chip where device identification, size, and factory defined default component operating parameters are stored.

Lg multi v error 1501 1
Dear Admin,
I have a very strange problem with my LG multi V 4 AC with error 52 on the outdoor unit slave 3.
I’ve tried swapping all PCB board spare parts including jumper cables, between slave 2 (good condition) and salve 3 (error 25)
The result is still error 52 on the slave 3 unit if all the PCBs and jumper cables are installed in the slave 3 unit. Meanwhile, all the PCBs and jumper cables coming from slave 3 if installed on slave 2 the results are normal
What else should I check? Or what is the possible cause of error 52? I can confirm that none of the PCBs or jumper wires are damaged.
Please help me. Thank alot

Please explain lg malti v 3rd outdoor error code 731 and 741
Wow, I have had to set up every LG VRF T’stat myself as the owner, because;
1) One must never use BACnet into any VRF System _ values are never the same and corruptions occur. *the Touchscreen Event Log shows a NONE user making changes, which we found was the VRT’s. Why? Who Knows, because their top techs do not.
2) If you have a Touchscreen, you will find a very similar problem, in that what you see and can control on the Touchscreen, again does not match the Thermostat settings, so only use for changing Lock Out and possibly Setpoint.
3) We have instructed our Service Tech’s to perform all Service Work & troubleshooting at the Thermostat, since it is what is actually controlling the local VRF.
4) If local Thermostat Service ERROR Codes show up, have fun trying to figure out what they mean. I could find nothing online. Only info I received was from a Tech’s Software Screenshot.
Educational and help me a lot to find a trouble of aircon tnx.LG
